Homemade Tips For Glowing Skin

  • Use olive oil in the cooking

Olive oil is the rich source of Vitamin A, E and fatty acids. It also has emollient properties that help to maintain skin flexibility and suppleness. Further, it is rich in antioxidants helps to reduce free radicals and discoloration.

  • Eat Avocado, grapefruits, Broccoli

Avocado contains monounsaturated fats, vitamin A, C and E that helps to lock moisture in the winter and maintain our skin healthy. Grapefruit contains lycopene, and it protects from UV rays. Broccoli contains both vitamin B and C. It helps to reduce itchy and dry skin along with maintaining collagen production.

  • Mask of turmeric powder and gram flour

Make a paste of half teaspoon turmeric powder and four tablespoons of gram flour with water or milk. Apply this paste on face and neck for at least fifteen to twenty minutes. Then rinse it with plain water. You can apply this paste twice a week. Turmeric contains strong antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory properties that prevent skin damage and enhance collagen production. The gram flour helps to cleanse the skin.

  • Massage with the coconut oil

Take drops of coconut oil and lightly warm it up. Gently massage it on your face and neck in a circular motion and leave it on overnight. Coconut oil helps to nourish skin and gives you a glowing skin.

  • Use baking soda for glowing skin

Mix one teaspoon baking powder, one teaspoon olive oil and half teaspoon honey. Apply this to damp face and neck in a circular motion and leave it for ten minutes. Rinse your face and neck with cool water and pat dry then apply moisturizer. Apply this only once a week. Baking soda is a natural exfoliator and neutralizes the skin pH.

  • Cucumber and yogurt paste

Grate one small cucumber and add two to three tablespoons of yogurt to it. Apply this on face and neck. Leave it for five minutes and then rinse with cold water. Cucumber helps to replenish and rejuvenate the dull skin. It also improves skin complexion.

  • Cod liver oil

Prick cod liver oil capsules and apply oil on your face and neck. Massage it for two to three minutes and then leave it for 10 minutes. Rinse with water and apply regularly. It helps to nourish the skin, repairs the damaged skin and gives a glow to your skin.

  • Apply rose water

Apply cold rose water with the help of cotton ball face and neck. Repeat this regularly. Rosewater is a natural skin toner and cleanses the skin. It also improves skin circulation and pH of the skin.
